1 --------About--------

This is a BASIC Conics program designed and programmed similar to TI's Conics application (actually, it is almost identical in GUI), but it does more. It is aimed at those people who lack the archive memory to have the Conics application, or to those who do not like the Conics application.

2 --Legal Information--

This program is freeware and may be used and kept free of charge. Please do not charge others for this program. It has no waranty, and anything that the program causes is not my fault. Please modify at your own risk.

3 -Program Description-

At the main menu, there are six options (I think): Circle, Parabola, Elipse, Hyperbola, Info, and exit. If you select Parabola, Elipse, or Hyperbola, you will be prompted by another menu, asking if the graph is to be sidways or vertical (I assume that you know what Centeral Conics are and how to use their formulae). After that, the program switches to Horizonal mode, displays the equation (complete with variable restrictions), and prompts the equation values. After you correctly enter them, the program graphs the equation, and allows you to trace it. Additionally, the program plots useful information:

Circle: The program plots the center

Ellipse: The program plots the foci and the major and minor axes

Parabola: The program plots the focus, the axis of symmetry, and the directix

Hyperbola: The program plots the foci and the asymptotes.

After tracing the graph, the program displays the numerical values of the above information, and returns to the main menu. Modification is encouraged if I did not include enough mathematical operations for each of the conic sections.
